This new podcast series features behind-the-scenes looks at the making of Whisper of the Moon, a CD/DVD collection of lullabies and lightly-dark fairy tales from singer/songwriter Erin Ivey and the Tosca String Quartet.

In this episode: We chat with audio engineer Travis Kennedy, who recorded and mixed Whisper of the Moon.  From Electric Ladyland in NYC to Austin's finest studios, Travis brings his expertise and great taste to bear on this project.  We revisit the thrills and challenges of studio recording with a small audience in attendence, talk about the mixing process, why there's magic in the roux, and share a couple of tracks from the finished album.
